It began as usual with the sprinting down the hall like usual to get to class.. wow what nerds. I trudged slowly watching my blue vans to Lia’s locker only to find out she was already in class. Lia was supposed to wait for me every day to come to her locker, wow everyone was turning into such idiots. I wandered casually to my class only to get roared at by my teacher Mrs. Morgan for being seven minutes late to class, but I didn’t care I was having the worst most stressful day ever, last night I was up till 3 am watching Dancing with the stars Season 21 only to watch my favorite pair get eliminated by senseless judge Julianne Hough. Sadly I was less than a minute into class and already got yelled at. As Lia was talking Mrs. Morgan scanned her eyes for the talking suspect. I stopped talking immediately frightened that she would find me moving my mouth and not following her biggest rule..NO TALKING. Mrs. Morgan flicked her head in my direction only to of course look straight at me in the eye and ask me what the directions were. I had no idea I was speechless.  ¨I m sorry I don t know! ¨ I said trying to sound cool and calm.  ¨ Lunch detention both of you with all of this week s extra homework due by the end of today. ¨ She screamed to Lia and I. We were officially doomed. Meanwhile I dragged my feet out of the wretched classroom, look straight down at the floor with my head hanging. Ugh can it get any worse than this.. Right after the last students come out of Mrs. Morgan s classroom I see Lia, her shoulders slumped, frowning, I couldn take the stress and neither could she. As I read the text for the week, I cringed at the different parenting styles and the affects it had on me. I was reminded of the parenting style of my father. He was definitely â€Å"authoritarian.† I remember how degrading I felt as a child and vowed to never do that to my own children. Was I successful or did I develop another issue, as we see Victor Hinson describe in his own life? What is Family Systems? Studies have shown that economic circumstances have influences on the physical and cognitive development. â€Å"Differences in height and weight reflect economic factors within the United States as well† (Feldman, 2014, 2010 . p.205). When children are under nourished, it also affects their cognitive development. Neuroscientists are beginning to understand the link between brain development and cognitive development. Poverty also has an effect on the development of language as well. Studies have found that â€Å"by the age of four children of parents that receive welfare were like ly to have been exposed to some 13 million fewer words than those in families classified as professionals† (2014, 2010. p.228). Children who have been abused or neglected have trouble socializing with others, they can be aggressive, or withdrawn. Studies have found that they are effected physically as â€Å"abuse alters the brain† (p.257). When we think about family systems we also think about parenting styles and the effects they have on the child. The parenting styles that have been studied are the Authoritarian. Authoritarian parenting can be compared to that of a drill sergeant. This style is very controlling and cold. He fails to complete the course that he was initially going to undertake and does not even start the masters in management cause resulting to a cancellation of his enrollment in the master's degree. Therefore the applicant decides to enroll in commercial cookery certificate course and a diploma in hospitality course. Singh has noticed that the department has an intention to cancel his visa, which results in his application for subclass 572 visa. It stated that he always had a passion for cooking, aspired to work as a professional cook and that his home city had many hotels that would offer scope for the future position as cook. According to judge Hartnett after consideration of the facts, he made a conclusion that analysis of the applicants case by the tribunal that he had depression omitted reference to the medical certificate given to Singh by a doctor in Australia which he had presented to the department at the first place. The judge believed that the medical certificate proved that the applicant was indeed suffering from depression.[3] The court as well found out that there was no evidence from the decision by the tribunal to prove that it had actually made a consideration on the material which Singh has presented through his written submission regarding the reason that made him seek to change his course from business management to cookery. Eventually, it was a finding of the court that the tribunal did not bother to consider matters of relevance and in doing so, it had committed a jurisdictional error. What all this indicates is that a decision by the tribunal that might appear as formulaic or as routine might actually be tainted by jurisdictional error, and that it always rewards to go through and analyze the decision by the tribunal keenly and with an evaluation if the evidence or proof presented to the tribunal during the hearing was disregarded.
